The Brique Rouge collections are designed and created in Hossegor and manufactured in Portugal.
Design: what exactly is it?
The design includes the following steps:
- Search for shapes, details.
- Search for new leathers, accessories and materials
- Research drawing: allows you to project yourself onto a future model
- Prototyping: manufacturing from a drawing of a first draft in order to validate the shape.
- Preparation of the technical file (drawings and information so that the workshop can manufacture the model)
- Purchase of raw materials for manufacturing.
The way: in Portugal
- Send materials (leather, lining, zippers, buckles, carabiners etc.) to our production agent Lucinda in Bénédita (Portugal)
- Distribution of materials, technical files and order forms to our two workshops: one for the shoulder straps, the other for the pouches.
- As the workshops are family-run and therefore small, manufacturing times are longer. Allow 6 to 8 weeks.
The steps:
- Skin control and defect marking
- Leather and lining die cutting
- Slice dye
- Assembly
- Control of finished parts
- Packaging for shipping
Once received in Hossegor, the new models are counted, inspected and then photographed one by one.
